Sandstories will always seek the most cost-effective service for customers, ensuring the best value for money.
Cancellation charges
In the event that a commissioner needs to cancel a face-to-face Sandstories booking, the following charges will apply:
- 3 calendar months prior to training date – no cancellation charge
- 8 weeks prior to training date – 50% charge
- 6 weeks prior to training date – 75% charge
- 4 weeks prior to training date – 100% charge
The timescales attached to the cancellation charges reflect the difficulty in offering a cancelled date to an alternative training commissioner at short notice.
If it is possible to reschedule a cancelled training session, it may be possible to negotiate a reduction or waiver of the cancellation charge.
Sandstories CO2 emission policy
Sandstories is keen to make a contribution to the collective effort to reduce air pollution, environmental harm and subsequent global warming.
Sandstories will therefore offset the carbon emissions produced by the road travel required to deliver training across the UK. It’s not possible to use public transport in order to deliver Sandstories training because of the weight of the resources which need to be transported.
World Land Trust assists individuals and organisations in quantifying their carbon footprint and, where appropriate, offsetting their unavoidable emissions.
The cost of offsetting the CO2 emissions for each Sandstories journey will be calculated using the World Land Trust carbon calculator.
After calculation, this small sum will be added to the invoice for Sandstories training.
Sandstories will then make the donation directly to the World Land Trust.
